In the midst of promotional duties, Hilary Duff was spotted looking stylish as she left her mid-town hotel in New York City on Tuesday evening (October 12).

The “Beauty and the Briefcase” gal donned a well-matched ensemble including high black boots, black pants and a grey turtle neck top as she politely smiled for the on-hand paparazzi.

Newlywed Duff recently admitted that it was a bit difficult to juggle the planning of her August 2010 wedding to hockey player, Mike Comrie, while trying to reach the deadlines for her recently released young adult novel, “Elixir.”

"I was planning the wedding, and there's deadlines with that, too, like getting the location and getting your dress at a certain time."

Speaking about her book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, Hil added, "They were very good to me during the writing process and very lenient with dates and stuff until the very end. Then it got hectic." (Hollywood Gossip)
